How to suggest a new Discord Channel

It is important to have the right channels in our Discord server while also maintaining the balance of not having so many that it becomes confusing. Here is how to get a new channel made in our Discord!

1. Join Geek.Zone
2. Join our Discord
3. Post the following in #general, replacing the [variables] as appropriate.
   Channel suggestion: we should have a #[channel name] channel because [reason]
4. Get 5 members to thumbs-up it
5. Post an @trustees message in #general asking for the new channel to be created

Please only include one channel suggestion in each message so that people have the chance to vote on it separately. If you don’t want a channel to be created, do feel free to thumbs-down it for further discussion.
